Bambou Salons & Spas is excited to announce it has finalized an agreement to become the official hair salon for the KCTV5 News Team! The agreement was negotiated by Bambou Salons & Spas owner, Sean Barnard, and entitles KCTV5 news anchors and reporters to complimentary services and discounts at Bambou Salon & Spa at Antioch & College. The agreement is currently valid through May, 2020.
“It’s an exciting partnership,” explains Barnard, “KCTV5 news is our favorite local news channel and we are so happy for the opportunity to have our team’s work showcased every day on television.” Each of the KCTV5 anchors and reporters will be able to work with one of the professional Bambou Salons & Spas stylists at the Antioch & College location. “Our stylists are practically giddy about having local celebrities in the salons,” says Salon Manager Deb Linder, “I think it’s a great way to feature our newly remodeled salon, our high standards and the work of our amazing team.”
KCTV5 News is the local CBS news affiliate for the Kansas City metropolitan area and provides news to over 2.5 million regional viewers. KCTV5 is known for reporting excellence, including national, regional, and local headlines, investigative reporting, and hyper-local news that matter to people in Kansas City.
“We think it’s awesome that our guests will be able to tell their friends that they get their hair done by the same stylist that does Ellen McNamara, Brad Stephens, or Gina Bullard,” says Barnard, “and I think more than a few of them are hoping that Joe Chiodo makes an appearance!”
