Every year the Folly Theater hosts its annual Folly Frolic Benefit Concert. This year the Frolic is bringing world-renowned blues & gospel vocalist, Oleta Adams on Saturday, November 17th!

About the Folly
The historic Folly Theater is one of the city’s finest jewels as a tribute to our rich and varied past. Dubbed the “Carnegie Hall of Kansas City” by renowned flutist Sir James Galway, this icon has presented the talents of Gypsy Rose Lee, the Marx Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dave Brubeck and Sally Rand.
Saved from the wrecking ball in 1974, this century old venue has defined an era of Kansas City’s past. Renovated and re-opened in 1981, this landmark serves as a preferred performance venue for area arts presenters such as the Friends of Chamber Music, Harriman-Jewell Series, Heartland Men’s Chorus, and is home for annual Folly produced programming such as the Jazz series, Kids series, and the popular “Cyprus Avenue Live at the Folly.”
